Having the right snack or drink before bed can help you get a better night’s sleep. Try eating a slice of toast washed down with a warm glass of milk. Toast contains carbohydrates and together with the amino acids in the milk, increases serotonin. Serotonin becomes melatonin, which is the hormone that aids sleep.
